A BEAUTIFUL TOUCH
like a picture the world was before me,
but i had grown used to its beauty, and it bored me.
as i lay in the soft sunshine and whispering breezes,
a bolt of orange and black came through the trees,
like a rocket on an aerial highway, so bold and brash,
he entered my world with a crash.
he didn’t seem to stay very long,
just time for a song,
to touched my cold lonely heart.
as i gasped at his bold intrusion.
he spread his wings to fly
leaving a new world before my eyes.
