A writer must complete a considerable amount of research – even for a fictional story, just to keep it real.
Well, in light of “keeping it real” it became necessary to put one of my characters in jail while writing the second book about Clayton County. The trick is to get her out without sounding too phony baloney, which necessitates my having a “strategic” yet believable plan that included the legal steps and courtrooms required for:
- Bail Hearing
- Dismissal of charges due to lack of evidence.
If you have any ideas at all I’d like to hear from you. btw – so would the character sitting in jail!Don Wooldridge, Author The Secrets of Clayton County Amazon print copy Kindle digital version Barnes and Noble Nook Sony eReader Kobo eReader
